Hi, I’m Frank Conner, pastor here at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
I have been here at Bethlehem for over six years in a part-time capacity and my relationship with the church has been a rather unique one. Initially I was asked to serve as a temporary fill-in for only a few months...but apparently the Spirit had other plans!
I live in Appleton with my wife, Kim, and commute to Kronenwetter twice per week. Most weeks I arrive on Tuesday afternoon, staying through Thursday afternoon and making a return day trip on Sundays for worship and other church functions.
My wife and I are originally from California, where I worked in Development Geology for Chevron. Prior to entering the workforce, I attended Cal State Fullerton where I earned my undergraduate degree in Earth Science. In 1994, we moved to Dubuque, Iowa so that I could attend seminary. Kim & I are the proud parents of a daughter, Bryse, who is currently a student at the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse. In my spare time, I enjoy golf (my game is deteriorating annually) and am an avid fan of both the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Dodgers.
We strive to be a warm, friendly family at Bethlehem with an informal worship style. We love kids here and worship is almost always lively with them. I encourage you to give us a call, or better yet, come hear the Good News and worship with us on a Sunday morning. I hope to see you soon.!
